The Mexico international has returned to England with the Hammers and has been fine tuning his finishing skills with some impressive training efforts

Javier Hernandez is back in English football at West Ham, and the former Manchester United striker has clearly brought his scoring boots with him.

Two years after leaving Old Trafford for Bayern Leverkusen, having spent the season prior to that on loan Real Madrid, the Mexico international has returned for a second stint in the Premier League.

West Ham 9/1 to open with win over Man Utd

He was a regular source of goals during his time at United, with the target found 59 times despite seeing limited game time.

West Ham have bought into his poaching instincts in an effort to spark a European push in 2017-18, and Hernandez has been offering an early glimpse of what he brings to the fold.

The 29-year-old barely even acknowledges his stunning strike as he nonchalantly spins around and gets on with the rest of the session.

His effort may have only been in training, but he would not have been the first to celebrate such a hit slightly more energetically had he chosen to do so.

What number will Chicharito wear?

Hernandez is clearly saving himself for when it really matters, with competitive action now fast approaching.

West Ham will open their 2017-18 Premier League campaign away at Manchester United on August 12, offering Chicharito an opportunity to open his account in familiar surroundings.
