The footballing world has been witness to some wonderful goalkeeping performances in recent times, with Kasper Schmeichel and Jan Oblak both excelling in this week's Champions League action.

But both would do well to match the save pulled off by Bastia's Jean-Louis Leca in his side's Ligue 1 clash with Metz.

The 31-year-old somehow managed to tip over Georges Mandjeck's downward header in the opening stages of Friday's match.

But Leca could not save his side from defeat as an own goal from Gilles Cioni ensured the home side ran out 1-0 winners.
