Axel Witsel raised a lot of eyebrows when he decided to reject a long-awaited move to Juventus and joined Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian instead.

But the midfielder showed he means business when he earned a point for his new side with a late equaliser against Shanghai Shenhua.

Opposing star Carlos Tevez could do nothing to inspire his side, who were down to 10 men, to a victory, with the club's first goal in the division proving decisive.
