Victor Wanyama led his family to watch an entertaining final of the Africa City Basketball Championships at Nyayo Stadium on Saturday.
Accompanied with Macdonald Mariga, the Tottenham midfielder followed the action keenly as Nairobi City Morans thumped Kampala Stars of Uganda 71-49. Morans advanced to the final following their victory against compatriots Mombasa City Sharks in one of the most outstanding performances that recorded a century score of 107-46 for the winners.
Wanyama is taking a break from football action after leading Spurs to finish the English Premier League second behind eventual winners Chelsea. Wanyama was also part of Harambee Stars squad that suffered a 2-1 defeat to Sierra Leone in an Afcon qualifier played in Freetown a week ago.
On the other hand, Mariga is also in the country for holiday after his side Latina was relegated in Italy.
