Less than 12 months on from delivering an improbable Premier League title win, the Italian has been relieved of his managerial duties by Leicester

Claudio Ranieri was sacked by Leicester City on Thursday, in a move that was both shocking and not very surprising at the same time

Less than a year after winning the Premier League, the Foxes are mired in a relegation fight and the club have decided that the title-winning boss had to go — one day after Leicester fell 2-1 at Sevilla in the Champions League round-of-16 first leg.
