Ulinzi Stars have unveiled betting company Elitebet as club’s official shirt sponsors until end of the season in a multi-million shilling deal.
The partnership was signed and unveiled at the Department of Defence Headquarters in Hurlingham, Nairobi by the Kenya Defence Forces Football Association (KDFFA) chairman Brigadier Aphaxard Kiugu.
“We are delighted to welcome Elitebet to the team and I know they have come in because of the good performance and above all the discipline of the team. As a team, our motto has always been soliders first and as soldiers, we have codes of conduct which guide us.
“I want to assure you that this money will be put into very good use and for its intended purpose,” Brigadier Kiugu said just before signing the partnership and launching the new kits to be used in the second leg.
Ulinzi Stars are third on the 18-team Kenyan Premier League table after accumulating 24 points from 13 matches.
