But it seems that all is now well after Ulinzi Stars drafted the player in the club's plans for the 2018 season.

Kenyan Premier League confirmed Amwayi’s return to the squad as Ulinzi Stars prepare to take on Zoo Kericho in the opening match on Sunday.

Amwayi who started as a defender before he was turned into an attacker, is expected to give Dunstan Nyaudo the needed edge upfront following Stephen Waruru’s departure to Sofapaka.
