Ulinzi Stars' utility player, Kevin Amwayi is back at Ulinzi Stars after sitting out for 18 months.
Amwayi left Ulinzi Stars in 2016 under unclear circumstances and was even linked with a move back to his boyhood club, Western Stima at one point.
Amwayi hit the headlines late in 2016 when he posted disturbing message on social media, suggesting that he wanted to commit suicide after his relationship with the management hit rock bottom.
But it seems that all is now well after Ulinzi Stars drafted the player in the club's plans for the 2018 season.
Kenyan Premier League confirmed Amwayi’s return to the squad as Ulinzi Stars prepare to take on Zoo Kericho in the opening match on Sunday.
Amwayi who started as a defender before he was turned into an attacker, is expected to give Dunstan Nyaudo the needed edge upfront following Stephen Waruru’s departure to Sofapaka.
