Ulinzi Stars coach Benjamin Nyangweso has played down reports that his charges are clear favorites against Tusker FC.

The soldiers have won two and drawn one of their last three matches as compared to the brewers, who have lost two, drawn one and won one of their initial four matches.

Nyangweso says his opponents have a good squad capable of causing an upset and his team should be ready for them. "Starting the season badly does not mean Tusker are a bad team, no, these are things that happen in football all the time," Nyangweso told Goal on Friday.

"They may have started the season badly, but their quality remains the same. They have good players who are experienced, and remember, they are the defending champions. We will go there and give them our best, avoid silly mistakes and take our chances, that is our target."

Ulinzi Stars are currently placed in the seventh position, seven places higher than Tusker.
