Omar Mbongi is attending a three month military training and hence will not be available for selection in first leg

Ulinzi Stars defender Omar Mbongi is set to miss the remainder of first leg of the Kenyan Premier League.

His coach Benjamin Nyangweso has conceded that he (Mbongi) will definitely be missed by the team. "He is a first team player, he is one of our senior members and once a player like that leaves for some time he creates a void," Nyangweso told Goal on Friday.

"He will definitely be missed, his contribution has been massive and we all know how dedicated he is to the team. But I believe we have players, who can effectively replace him for the time being. Hassan Mohammed is still out, he has not yet recovered but we have players who can do the job."

The soldiers have garnered seven points from three matches.
