Ugandan defender sends message to AFC Leopards fans

Former AFC Leopards defender Yakubu Ramadhan has thanked the fans after ending his career at The Den.

Yakubu was part of the Ingwe squad that clinched the GOtv Shield title after beating Kariobangi Sharks in the final last season. However, the Ugandan defender was released by the club in the on-going transfer window.

Yakubu has now taken to his social media page to thank the fans and the management for the time he spent with the club. “As athletes we have the opportunity to travel around the world, to live in various places. But l had the privilege of being able for two years and a half to have AFC Leopards as my home.

“l thank the club President, my manager, all the staff members, my team mates and especially my fans, for all the support. Thanks so much.”

Goal could however, not establish the destination of the burly defender.
