Mfon Udoh has applauded the management of Kano Pillars who deemed it fit to airlift Sai Masu Gida contingent for the Sunday’s league duel in Calabar.
The striker charges other clubs in the topflight to follow the same trend to keep their player refreshed for upcoming matches and reduce the risks of travelling by road.
“I want to praise the management of Kano Pillars for not choosing the normal route of road transport to Calabar. The players will be refreshed and ready for the game on Sunday but I want to assure them that it won’t guarantee them anything on Sunday. We know we are in a must win situation,” Udoh told Goal.
“We are going to approach the game as if our lives depend on winning it. Akwa United are doing very well presently and the only way by which we can overtake them is to continue winning our games including the one with Kano Pillars on Sunday.
“We have put the result of the game in Ibadan behind us because we know there is nothing we can do to change it. We are focused on getting a win in our game with Kano Pillars and in other matches too.”
