Tusker youth team will be beefed up after a two-day trials set to commence on Tuesday

Tusker FC youth team have called for trials in a bid to beef up the squad for 2017 duties.

Team manager Calvince Odhiambo has told Goal that talented young players born on or after January 1, 1998 are invited to attend a two-day trials which will kick off on Tuesday. They are required to carry with them Birth Certificates or IDs, plus School leaving certificates as the exercise will only be open for players, who are through with their schooling.

Successful players will immediately be recruited into the team to start preparations for County league action and KPL U-20 competitions in the year.

“We are hereby inviting skillful young players to attend our trial sessions which will be staged at Railway ground on Tuesday and Wednesday as from 10am each day. They must have the aforementioned documents and be school leavers.”

The Brewers' Youth Program is currently headed by former Kariobangi Sharks assistant coach Leonard Odipo with assistance from Aggrey Evayo as the coach and Calvince Odhiambo as the team manager.
