Ugandan coach George 'Best' Nsimbe has been crowned the best for the month of May after guiding the brewers to five wins

Tusker coach George Nsimbe has been named the best for the month of May.

Tusker beat Kakamega Homeboyz, Zoo Kericho, Sony Sugar, Mathare United and completing the month with a win against AFC Leopards in the month of May, a record which no other coach could reach.

But after a successful campaign in May, the brewers suffered their third defeat of the season in a shock 1-0 defeat to Bandari in Meru last Sunday. The Ugandan coach took home a trophy which is usually accompanied by Sh75, 000 cash.

Nsimbe becomes the third coach after former Gor Mahia tactician, Jose Marcelo Ferreira and Posta Rangers’ Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo, to win the award this season. Tusker are currently second behind Gor Mahia in the Kenyan Premier League table standings, both on 28 points.
