Ezenkosi, Matsatsantsa and Dikwena all booked their places in the quarter-finals of the lucrative competition after winning their last 16 matches

National First Division (NFD) strugglers Jomo Cosmos caused an upset when they beat PSL log leaders Bidvest Wits in Johannesburg on Tuesday night.

The deadlock was broken by Ezenkosi midfielder Linda Mntambo, who fired past Moeneeb Josephs on the stroke of half-time to make it 1-0 to Cosmos.

However, Wits managed to restore parity 21 minutes into the second-half when Mogakolodi Ngele headed past Cosmos keeper Thabo Modiba to make it 1-1.

Nevertheless, Cosmos went on to win 5-4 on penalties after Modiba superbly saved man of the match S'fiso Hlanti's spot-kick.

In Durban, this season's PSL title contenders SuperSport United brushed aside ABC Motsepe side KwaDukuza United 2-0.

Mandla Masango opened the scoring with a great header in the 36th minute with Thuso Phala providing a quality cross and SuperSport were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Matsatsantsa's win was sealed by Aubrey Modiba, who scored in the 85th minute, while his teammate Thabo Mnyamane was red-carded shortly thereafter.

Lastly, Platinum Stars needed a late strike to overcome fellow PSL side Baroka FC in an encounter which was played in Polokwane.

Ndumiso Mabena's thunderous effort beat Baroka goalkeeper Ayanda Dlamini in the dying minutes of extra-time and Stars emerged 1-0 winners on the night.
