Yanga midfielder Pappy Tshishimbi has refused to give up on the title race, despite Simba SC’s six points lead at the top of the Vodacom Premier League table.

The Jangwani side have won their last six games of the Ligi Kuu including vital away wins against Azam FC last month and Ndanda FC on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Simba SC who is unbeaten this season, have been shocked twice in the space of two weeks following an away draw with Mwadui FC followed by a home draw against Stand United.

Speaking to Goal, Tshishimbi said that it is not over yet so there is no point in giving up, saying that they will take each match as it comes and they will try to win every match.

‘It is not over yet, so there is no point to give up, we are trying to win every match, this is only way to win the title this season,” said Tshishimbi.
