Pahang are set to feature their new foreign signing in this Saturday's FA Cup final against Kedah, after their application was accepted by M-League organiser Football Malaysia LLP (FMLLP).

With the mid-season transfer window already open, the Tok Gajah have decided to drop their pre-season signing, Nigerian forward Chinedu Dike to make space for new signing, 21-year old Argentine Yamil Romero.

Romero has previously played for Boca Juniors and Juventud Unida.

FMLLP has accepted the Elephants' change of players, according to a document released to the press on Wednesday, which means Romero may be fielded in their next match, the FA Cup final match against Kedah. Last Saturday, they defeated Negeri Sembilan 2-1 in the second leg of their FA Cup semi-final match, to win the tie 3-1 on aggregate and qualify for the final match.

Dike has fallen down the pecking order in head coach Dollah Salleh's squad, having scored only two goals, made seven appearances, and started three matches in the Super League for them.
