SHABBA TO SIGN NEW CHIEFS DEAL SOON


Siphiwe Tshabalala, Kaizer Chiefs & Mbongeni Gumede, AmaZulu

Having served Kaizer Chiefs with distinction, experienced midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala is set to extend his stay with the Naturena-based outfit.

Media reports reveal that the former Free State Stars left-footed player is close to sealing his contract with the Glamour Boys.

Kaizer Chiefs are yet to discuss Itumeleng Khune's future at the club despite reports suggesting otherwise, Goal can reveal. 

A source within the Amakhosi camp confirmed that Khune still has over two years left on his current deal, before adding that it is too early to begin new contract talks.

Orlando Pirates striker Thamsanqa Gabuza could reportedly reunite with Eric Tinkler at SuperSport United.

The experienced centre forward has found game time increasingly difficult to come by this season having made only 10 PSL starts for the Buccaneers thus far.

Orlando Pirates are reportedly set to revive their interest in Bidvest Wits central midfielder Ben Motshwari this winter.

Motshwari, who joined Wits from lower division side Trabzon FC in 2014, has struggled for regular game at the Braamfontein-based outfit this season.

AMAZULU WANT MORTON TO STAY

AmaZulu head coach Cavin Johnson has revealed that he would be interested in making Michael Morton’s loan from SuperSport United permanent.

However, while the Durban-based outfit’s mentor admits that it is far too early to talk about player movements considering that the January transfer window only recently closed, Johnson expressed his admiration for the former Maritzburg United midfielder.

Ajax   Cape Town have confirmed that they have indeed parted ways with attacker Erwin Isaacs effective immediately. 

The news was confirmed by the club's spokesperson Shooz Mekuto, who further revealed that Isaacs had not been training with the first team since Muhsin Ertugral's appointment as head coach in December 2017.

Orlando Pirates youngster Siphumelele Mbulu has been promoted to the club's first team.

The central midfielder has been playing for Bucs' Multichoice Diski Challenge and SAB teams this season.

Lee Baxter joins Kaizer Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs have officially appointed Lee Baxter as their new goalkeepeer coach until 2019/20 PSL season. 

Baxter replaces Alexandre Revoredo, who passed away at the age of 57 in August 2017 after a short illness.

BILLIAT SIGNS WITH NEW AGENT


Sundowns, Khama Billiat & Anthony Laffor

Mamelodi Sundowns talisman Khama Billiat has attained a new agent after recently parting ways with now former agent Siyabulela Loyilane.

The 27-year-old forward was believed to have become disgruntled after failing to secure a move away from the club during January transfer window, opting to dump his agent Loyilane, who took over his affairs following the death of Edzai Kasinauyo in 2017.

Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic has explained why the club cannot re-sign South African Kermit Erasmus.

The 27-year-old striker is a free agent after being released by French Ligue 1 outfit Rennes despite having five months left on his contract.

Egypt international Amr Gamal is expected to leave reigning Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions Bidvest Wits for Finnish side HJK Helsinki in the near future.

The striker has fallen out of favour at the Clever Boys since the arrival of Lehlohonolo Majoro from Cape Town City during the January transfer window.

Mamelodi Sundowns talisman Khama Billiat has parted way with agent Siyabulela Loyilane after the 27-year-old failed to make a much-anticipated move away from Chloorkop during the now concluded January transfer window.

The Zimbabwe international has been the centre of ongoing speculation regarding his Masandawana future, as he is yet to put pen to paper on a new contract at Sundowns. Billiat is currently in his final six months of his current deal and with the player believed to be keen on plying his trade abroad.

Chippa United have officially announced the signing of former Kaizer Chiefsstriker Edward Manqele on a free transfer. 

Manqele was on the books of Free State Stars not so long ago, but he requested to be released from his contract after being given a better offer by the Port Elizabeth-based outfit during the January transfer window.

Former SuperSport United midfielder Cole Alexander is on the radar of several Premier Soccer League (PSL) clubs, according to his agent.

The 28-year-old was recently released by Matsatsantsa during the January transfer window alongside others such as Togolese forward Dove Wome and Keegan Ritchie who has since joined Bidvest Wits after being deemed surplus to requirements by the Tshwane-based outfit.

Victor Obinna, Cape Town City Cape Town City have parted ways with Nigerian striker Victor Obinna after just five months at the club.

The 30-year-old forward signed for the Citizens in September of 2017 as head coach Benni McCarthy pinned his hopes on his former teammate to be the answer to the Mother City-based outfit’s goal scoring woes following the departure of talisman Lebogang Manyama to Turkish side Konyaspor at the beginning of the season.

Brilliant Khuzwayo - Kaizer Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo will not be renewing his contract with the club when it expires at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old shot-stopper has been forced to play second fiddle to Chiefs No.1 Itumeleng Khune. He's reportedly grown frustrated with his lack of game time at the Soweto giants and he is looking to move on.

NORODIEN JOINS DIKWENA FROM BUCS

Orlando Pirates have announced that Riyaad Norodien has joined fellow Premier Soccer League (PSL) club Platinum Stars on a short-term loan deal.

The attacking midfielder becomes the second player after Ayanda Gcaba to join Dikwena on loan from the Buccaneers ahead of the closing of the PSL transfer window on Wednesday night.

Orlando Pirates have announced the signing of Zambian attacker Augustine Kabaso Mulenga from Zanaco FC. 

The 28-year-old frontman is expected to arrive in South Africa and link up with his new teammates next week as he was most recently with the Zambian national team at the ongoing 2018 Chan tournament in Morocco.

Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt has confirmed that the club wanted to sign Abbubaker Mobara from Orlando Pirates. 

However, the 53-year-old revealed that the proposed deal has failed to materialized.

Orlando Pirates defender Ayanda Gcaba has joined Platinum Stars on loan for the remainder of the campaign, the Soweto giants confirmed. 

Reports emerged earlier this year that Gcaba had handed in a transfer request to the Pirates management following his lack of game time under Micho Sredojevic.

Mamelodi Sundowns have reportedly received an R18 million bid for the services of attacker Percy Tau. 

According to Sowetanlive, Russian club FC Rostov has already submitted their bid to the Brazilians, with Denmark's Midtjylland also reported to be after the player's signature.

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane has commented on reports linking star attacker Percy Tau with a move abroad.

Reports by SowetanLive on Monday morning suggested that the ball has been placed firmly in Masandawana’s court as there was interest from Russian Premier League club FC Rostov as well as Denmark’s Midtjylland.
