 SARR STOPS TRAINING WITH HIGHLANDS PARK


Orlando Pirates, Issa Sarr

Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Issa Sarr has stopped training with Highlands Park as his search for a new club continues.

This is according to the Lions of the North coach Owen Da Gama, who told Goal on Monday that the Senegalese national is not with the 2017/18 National First Division (NFD) champions.

Bidvest Wits head coach Gavin Hunt has hinted that they could sign former Orlando Pirates midfielder Thandani 'Bibo' Ntshumayelo.

The 28-year-old player is currently on trial at the Clever Boys as he looks to relaunch his career after serving a two-year drug ban.

Maritzburg United coach Fadlu Davids has conceded that star player Siphesihle Ndlovu could soon follow former teammate Lebohang Maboe and move away from KwaZulu-Natal.

Maboe endured a highly impressive 2017/18 season alongside Ndlovu as the Team of Choice registered their highest ever Premier Soccer League (PSL) finish and reached their maiden Nedbank Cup final.

Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Chippa United have confirmed their interest in Orlando Pirates players Meshack Maphangule and Abel Mabaso.

The two players, who both joined the Buccaneers prior to the start of the current campaign have struggled for game time.

Kaizer Chiefs attacker Khama Billiat has revealed that he hasn't given up on his dream to one day move to Europe. 

The 28-year-old has been in scintillating form for Amakhosi this season, and his coach, Giovanni Solinas, has consistently mentioned that Billiat doesn't deserve to playing in the PSL.

Former Bloemfontein Celtic defender Alfred Ndengane is close to joining Orlando Pirates.

The versatile player was recently released by Celtic after asking the club to terminate his contract just two months into the 2018/19 campaign.

Bidvest Wits midfielder Kobamelo Kodisang has secured a move to Portuguese club AD Sanjoanense.

The São João da Madeira-based side which is campaigning in Portugal's third-tier league, has snapped up the South Africa youth international on a season-long loan deal.

Highlands Park have confirmed the signing of Tendai Ndoro after the Zimbabwean impressed during his time training with the club.

Ndoro was most recently on the books of Ajax Cape Town where he was at the center of much controversy due to his eligibility being called into question.

Former Platinum Stars midfielder Robert Ng'ambi has revealed to Goal that he has received offers from Premier Soccer League (PSL) and National First Division (NFD) clubs.

However, the Malawi international says he is still recovering from a muscle pull on his groin and can sign when he fully recovers from the injury.

Kaizer Chiefs have responded to Gor Mahia's claims that they have not paid for Godfrey Walusimbi.
