Trabzonspor’s Ogenyi Onazi eyes Alanyaspor fall

Ogenyi Onazi is eyeing victory over Alanyaspor when they face Trabzonspor in Saturday’s Turkish Super Lig outing at the Bahcesehir Okulları Stadyumu.

The Nigeria international featured for 67 minutes against Istanbul Basaksehir on Sunday but could not save the Black Sea Storm from their fifth top-flight loss this season, no thanks to Emmanuel Adebayor’s lone effort.

And the former Lazio midfielder has taken to the social media to reveal his disappointment with the outcome of the encounter. However, he is hoping that they can bounce back to winning ways when they take on Hikmet Karaman’s men in their next league tie.

“Sad week for us we could not get the win at home,” Onazi wrote on Instagram.

“But there was a lot to learn from the game and keep our head up for next game.”

Trabzonspor are placed seventh in the log with 33 points from 22 duels and a win in their next game could move them closer to a continental spot.

The combative midfielder has been impressive for Rıza Calımbay’s side this season, helping them to keep five clean sheets in his 16 appearances and capping it with two goals.
