Thika United retain coach ahead of season kick-off

Thika United have kept faith in coach Nicholas Muyoti ahead of the new season.

A source privy to happenings at the club has confirmed to Goal that Muyoti has been handed another season to guide the side in the top league.

“Thika United have retained Muyoti and he will be tasked to help the team post good results this season. They have faith in him and most of the technical bench members have also been retained for purpose of continuity.”

Muyoti helped Thika United maintain their top flight status after they beat Ushuru FC 2-1 on aggregate in the promotion play-off battle last December.

Western Stima and Muhoroni Youth were relegated from the league with Vihiga United and Wazito FC earning promotion.

Thika United will open their league campaign against Kakamega Homeboyz at home this weekend.
