Thika United coach James Nandwa is unimpressed with the way his team played in Kenyan Premier League on Sunday.

The milk men labored to 1-0 win against Kericho-based side Zoo in a match played at Thika Municipal Stadium. The former AFC Leopards man is unhappy with the way his charges played in the second half.

"We started the game well and controlled it in the initial stages, creating chances and pinning them into their own half. In the second half we relaxed a bit, and they took advantage of it, and at some point they put us under intense pressure. It is something we need to work on and avoid it in our coming matches," Nandwa told Goal.

"In general, the points mattered and I am happy to have bagged them all, it was important we win."

Joel Tata scored the all important goal for the Thika-based team.
