Thika United attacker in Europe for trials

The Cameroonian forward is in Europe for one month trying out with a number of clubs

Thika United striker Joel Tata is in Europe to conduct trials with a number of clubs in a bid to land a deal.

The Cameroonian striker jetted out of Kenya in mid-January and will be out for one month before knowing his fate as confirmed on the club’s official website.

He joined Thika United from Nairobi City Stars in June 2016 scoring one goal and making two assists for the Brookside sponsored outfit in the season.

The James Nandwa coached team breathed a sigh of relief on Thursday after they were reinstated to the Kenyan Premier League when Muhoroni Youth and Sofapaka were relegated to National Super League having failed to comply with the Caf Club Licensing requirements.

Nandwa recruited 10 new players in January transfer window to strengthen their areas of weakness ahead of the league kick-off date which was tentatively set to be February 18.
