Emmanuel Okwi has become the first player to reach 13 Ligi Kuu Bara goals this season after his lone strike in Simba's 1-0 win against Azam

The forward continued his Ligi Kuu Bara brilliancy after helping his club secure a narrow win of 1-0 against Azam.

Simba recorded the largest margin ever of seven points clear at the Ligi Kuu Bara top flight after getting a narrow win against Azam FC at Tanzania’s national stadium on Wednesday.

Okwi scored the lone goal after 37 minutes of the game, finishing off a brilliant Asante Kwasi pass.

The Ugandan International has 13 goals this season to his name in the league this season, the most interesting fact about Okwi is that all his goals came from Dar es salaam football grounds (Uhuru and National Stadium).

He only needs to score one goal to reach 14 goals scored by last season's Golden Boot winner Simon Msuva.

Eight of his goals were scored at Uhuru Stadium while five of them comes from National Stadium. He has not managed to score a single goal from matches played out of Dar es salaam.

Simba 4-0 Njombe Mji: The attacker contributed one goal out of 4

Simba 4-0 Singida United: His brace helped Simba to secure a win against Hans van der Pluijm's side, Bocco also scored twice.
