The questions about Mexico's starting side against Costa Rica have now been answered, and manager Juan Carlos Osorio has chosen a very strong attacking team that includes three forwards. 

Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez will be joined on the front line by Carlos Vela and Oribe Peralta, leaving the side with plenty of firepower but also leaving no space in the team for Jurgen Damm. 

Osorio invests in injury replacements

Rafa Marquez gets the start in midfield alongside Jonathan dos Santos and Hector Herrera, with Nestor Araujo partnering Hector Moreno, who shook off an injury concern during the week, in the center of the defence.

Carlos Salcedo earns a start at fullback, with Miguel Layun on the other side and Memo Ochoa in goal.
