Tusker FC midfielder Humphrey Mieno has been benched for the league match against AFC Leopards on Thursday.

Ugandan coach George Nsimbe has made two changes to the starting eleven, bringing in countryman Hashim Sempala in place of injured Cercidy Okeyo.

Okeyo picked an injury in the Brewers GOtv Shield quarter-final defeat to Vihiga United last Sunday. Nsimbe has also drafted in Paul Odhiambo and Brian Osumba in places of Mieno and Danson Kago, who started in Tusker’s previous match.

Collins Shivachi will however, not feature as he is serving a one match ban due to accumulation cards.

Tusker XI: Duncan Ochieng, Marlon Tangauzi, David Mwangi, Eugine Asike, James Situma, Hashim Sempala, Paul Odhiambo, Brian Osumba, Anthony Ndolo, Stephen Owusu and Boniface Muchiri.

Subs: David Okello, Lloyd Wahome, Humphrey Mieno, Jackson Macharia, Michael Khamati, Danson Kago and Victor Ndinya.
