Tanzania confirm to participate in the CECAFA Chalenge Cup

After a two year hiatus the CECAFA Challenge cup returns this year and Taifa Stars has confirmed to take part in this year's competition. Zanzibar, Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda, Somalia, Sudan, Sudan Kusini, Eritrea na Ethiopia are also expected to take part in the competition.


Simba face in form Mbeya City

The Vodacom premier League will continue this weekend with saturday games that will have Singida United face Yanga while Tanzania Prisons will be hosted by Kagera Sugar in the Kaitaba Stadium.

Njombe Mji will face Mbao FC and Mtibwa Sugar who have started the season very well will be in Mtwara to face Ndanda FC.There will also be a late evening game with Azam FC playing Ruvu Shooting at 7:00 PM at the Azam Complex.

Sunday will see two games, with Lipuli hosting Mwadui FC from Shinyanga and another mouthwatering clash between Simba and Mbeya City at the Sokoine Stadium in  Mbeya. All games will kick off at 4PM in the evening.
