Sylvester Igboun scored the match winning goal as FC Ufa sealed a 1-0 win over Arsenal Tula on Sunday.

The 27-year-old secured maximum points for Sergei Semak’s men with a 77th strike as they recorded their third win in the Russian topflight league this season.

The former Midtjylland forward is a goal shy from equalling his record of three goals in 24 league games in the 2016-17 season.

Igboun featured for the entire duration of the encounter while compatriot Kehinde Fatai was replaced by Dmitrij Sysuev in the 72nd minute.

Ufa are placed 10th in the Russian Premier League log with 13 points from 11 games and will lock horns with CSKA Moscow on October 1 for their next fixture.
