The 29-year-old suffered an injury last month which has kept him out of action for a while but he is back in the Swans fold

Wilfried Bony announced his return to the pitch on Thursday ahead of their clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

Bony limped off the pitch against Everton in December and further checks later revealed he had picked up a hamstring injury.

The forward who has scored two goals this season in his 12 appearances has missed four games since the injury.

On Tuesday, the Swans boss, Carlos Carvalhal lamented the absence of the former Manchester City striker along with his other attackers after their 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur and will be pleased with Bony’s return.

The Cote d'Ivoire international took to the social media to herald his come back to the field of play.
