Sunshine Stars want to leave relegation - Anubi eyes Remo Stars' scalp

Ahead of the mid-season break, the midfielder insists the Akure side are focused on moving out of the drop zone with a win over the Sky Blue Stars

In a bid to move out of the relegation zone, Kola Anubi says that Sunshine Stars are eager to defeat Remo Stars.

After suffering a 2-1 defeat against FC IfeanyiUbah in their last league outing, the former Nigeria youth international admits that the Owena Whales are well motivated to overcome Fatai Osho's men on Sunday.

"We are seriously eager to beat Remo Stars. Our objective, for now, is to get out of the relegation zone. We will give everything to get maximum points on Sunday," Anubi told Goal.

"I believe with the support of the new management and change in government everything is going to work out well for us.

"The management are really doing their best to motivate us [the players] in all aspect to see us doing our best to achieve our goals.

"For our fans, I will urge them to remain patient with us and also want to assure them that we will get better in subsequent games."
