Newly promoted English Premier League side, Sunderland have intensified their pursuit of the highly-rated Ivorian striker, Max Gradel according to Daily Mail.

The striker indicated in April that he wanted to part with the Cherries for first-team football action after he joined them from the French side, St Etienne in 2015.

Ligue 1 side, Toulouse and some English topflight outfits are understood to have signalled their interest in the attacker.

The 29-year-old is desperate to resuscitate his career after enduring a torrid time at Dean Court.
