The Pride of Rivers gaffer said his side is not carried away by their impressive form and are aware of how good Abubakar Bala's side is

Rivers United coach, Stanley Eguma has said that his side will approach Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League clash against Niger Tornadoes with respect regardless of their current awe-inspiring form.

The Port Harcourt based side have garnered four points out of a possible six and Eguma has stressed that his team are not ready to rest on their laurels - not even against a side yet to pick up maximum points this season.

“We respect Tornadoes because we know they have come to Port Harcourt with a very good team,” Eguma told club website.

“We may not have lost any game this season but no one should get carried away because the (Rivers United) team is still work in progress.

“We have a big task in the technical department of the football club because we have many new players who are yet to bond into a unit and embrace our philosophy.

“The work to attain required levels in the football club is ongoing and I know we will get better with more matches played,” he said.
