The Bankers had different idea though as they responded later on with goals from Kennedy Owino and Simon Abuko. Elsewhere, at Cray Fish Stadium, Naivasha, Nairobi Stima ensured they returned to Nairobi with three points at the expense of Nakuru-based St. Josephs. Former Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards man Ivan Anguyo scored the only goal of the match.

At Mumia Complex, Vihiga United was held to a barren draw by visitors Nakuru All Stars. Emmanuel Kapchenga and Jackson Maina were on target on Saturday at Camp Toyoyo as Agro Chemicals downed Bidco 2-1. The visitors scored their consolation through Anthony Mbugua.

Wazito FC, GFE 105, Vihiga United, Palos FC and Nairobi City Stars occupy the first five positions on the NSL table.
