A four-goal haul against Leicester on Thursday brings his league tally to 26 goals, moving him ahead of Everton’s Romelu Lukaku in the race for the Golden Boot and marking him out as the English top-flight’s most potent frontman since the turn of the calendar year.

Lukaku has netted 14 times in 2017 and has 24 Premier League goals for the season.

Kane will be hoping to stay ahead of him on the final weekend, having added to his tally against his favourite opponent.

Spurs, who are guaranteed to finish the campaign in second spot, bring the curtain down on their 2016-17 season away at Hull City on Sunday.
