The Belgian club are fed up with the ASD Cape Town product, who has proved to be a controversial player

South Africa international Ayanda Patosi, who is currently on the books of Belgian First Division A club KSC Lokeren, could soon find himself clubless.

This is after the attacking midfielder reportedly missed training and a friendly match against Dutch club FC Twente this week.

Patosi has had a number of disciplinary problems including coming back late from international duty and missing training at Loreken over the years.

The 24-year-old, who recently returned to the Lokeren starting line-up after a 134-day absence a fortnight ago, seems to have played his last game for the club.

“His story is closed. Unless he has a convincing reason‚ we are going to cancel his contract," Lokeren technical director Willy Reynders said on The Sowetan.

“It seems such a waste because if he had the personal discipline he would be an enormous talent‚” the Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad stated on Friday.

The Cape Town-born attacker, who joined Lokeren in 2011, has made only eight league appearances for the team this season - without netting a single goal.

He was not included in the latest Bafana Bafana squad that will face Guinea-Bissau and Angola in international friendly matches this month.
