The young South African striker is on the lookout for a new club and has received numerous offers from both local and overseas teams

News coming out of Portugal is that SC Braga are looking at signing South African under-20 international Luther Singh, who is currently a free agent.

The 19-year-old has been training with his former academy team, Stars of Africa, recently as a keep-fit measure to be in fine shape, should his next move come about any time soon.

During the course of last year, Singh was linked with Spanish giants and European champions Real Madrid.

The Madrid side were impressed with his exploits for Swedish side GAIS, where he scored 11 goals in his first season at the club.

In addition to Braga’s interest, Vitoria de Guimaraes where fellow South African-born Bongani Zungu plies his trade, were also set to sign him up.

However, it appears that Braga will land his signature according to reports in the city.

Provided all goes to plan, Singh could complete the move to Braga before the close of the current January transfer window.

He was one of South Africa's key players during last month's Cosafa Under-20 tournament in the North West Province.
