Former Orlando City coach Adrian Heath is working hard to try and reunite with the Trinidad & Tobago midfielder and has made a sizable offer.

Adrian Heath knows Kevin Molino very well, and knows just how dynamic the Trinidad and Tobago midfielder can be, so it should come as no surprise that Heath and Minnesota United have made Molino a key target this winter.

Sources tell Goal that Minnesota United has made a sizable offer to Orlando City for Molino, with allocation money the key element of the offer. The Lions are not looking to trade Molino, but the midfielder is believed to be unhappy with his current contract and is looking for a move if Orlando City isn't willing to give him an increased salary.

Heath brought Molino to the U.S. when he signed the midfielder to the USL version of Orlando City, and brought him to MLS when Orlando City joined the league in 2015. A knee injury cut Molino's 2015 season short, but he rebounded in 2016, registering 11 goals and 8 assists.

Molino made $121,400 in 2016, a modest number for a player widely-regarded as one of the more dynamic midfielders in the league.

Minnesota United has a large amount of general allocation money available and could secure more via trade during the MLS SuperDraft.
