Sony Sugar coach Salim Babu is content with the barren draw against Bandari in the mid-week clash.
Babu says the vital point earned is an improvement from the previous match in which they lost 1-0 to Bandari at Awendo Green Stadium last weekend.
"As you are aware we are languishing at the lower reaches of the league standing table and a win would have moved us to a better position. We came here anticipating a win but to manage a draw is satisfactory as well."
Babu attributed the previous defeat to the decision by the referee to send off his two players. During the match staged Sony was reduced to nine men after Abdalla Hamisi and Justin Omary were given marching orders by the referee for dangerous tackle and second bookable offence respectively.
Babu exuded confidence that the team will triumph over the Dockers when the two sides face each other in GOtv quarter-finals clash scheduled for August 19.
Sony Sugar are placed 14th position on the 18 team Kenya Premier League table standing with 18 points from as many matches.
