The result puts Bandari third on the log with eleven points, same with second placed Chemelil Sugar

Sony Sugar suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat in the hands of Coastal-based side Bandari in Kenyan Premier League on Sunday.

The Awendo-based side failed to play their usual pressing game, failing to track down their hosts. However, head coach Babu Salim has hit back at his opponents for the sub-standard pitch.

"Honestly, we did not play our usual game, it was hard for my players to control the ball in a bumpy field and any time they tried to do so, they lost possession.

"It is not that we played the best team, they are used to play in that ground as compared to my players who play in a leveled one.

"We go back home preparing for our next match hoping to register positive results," Babu told Goal on Monday.

The result puts Bandari third on the log with eleven points, same with second placed Chemelil Sugar, who have a better goal difference.
