Sofapaka coach Sam Ssimbwa has been linked with a move to Vipers SC.

Reports from Uganda have indicated that the club have already reached an agreement to have Ssimbwa ditch Batoto Ba Mungu ahead of next season.

Vipers, who were tipped by many as the favourites to stop KCCA’s dominance in Ugandan football, find themselves in 5th position, 8 points behind leaders SC Villa and are also lagging behind teams Onduparaka, Police FC and KCCA FC.

The Ugandan performed better this season with Sofapaka, managing a second place finish behind eventual champions Gor Mahia.
