Willis Waliaula has been reinstated as team manager for Sofapaka, Goal can reveal.
Waliaula was suspended by Batoto ba Mungu two weeks ago after he was allegedly accused of ‘fixing’ a league match against Western Stima at Narok Stadium.
However, Waliaula has confirmed to Goal that he has been cleared to return after the club found him not guilty. “I have been cleared and I am now back to continue with my work at this great club.
“I love Sofapaka family and it was good to be back and training with the team at Ruiru Grounds today (Wednesday). The club cleared me of any wrong doing after they found that I was a clean man.”
Sofapaka are fighting to finish second on the Kenyan Premier League table and will face Tusker this weekend.
