The 26-year-old player could force a move away from the Brazilians according to recent reports

Mamelodi Sundowns forward Khama Billiat has reportedly attracted interest from an unnamed Saudi Arabian club.

The Zimbabwe international still has 12 months left on his current deal with the Brazilians, who signed him from Ajax Cape Town in 2013.

According to recent reports, a Saudi Arabian club is keen to sign Billiat after making a lucrative offer for the 2015/16 PSL Player of the Season.

It is said that the midfielder-come-striker's current Sundowns contract has a buyout clause of R28 million in event of interest from overseas.

Billiat, who is currently recovering from an injury, is reportedly considering leaving the 2016 Caf Champions League winners.

However, Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane has already made it clear that they want to retain Billiat's services ahead of the 2017/18 season.

Last month, the Brazilians revealed that they had opened talks with Billiat over the possible extension of his contract at the Chloorkop-based side.

But Bililat's agent Edzai Kasinauyo recently passed away and it is said that several agents are keen to work with the player and help facilitate his move to Asia.

It remains to be seen whether Sundowns will agree to sell their most prized asset in the middle of their 2017 Caf Champions League campaign.
