Salim Mbonde looking to impress Lechantre

Salim Mbonde will make his return for Simba after the clubs International duty in 19th round of the Premium League.

The defender suffered a knee injury in November in the match against Mwadui at the Kambarage Stadium.

This will be the first time for the defender to feature under French coach Pierre Lechantre and hopes to perform well and impress the coach.

'I am happy to back in the team, my vision is to help my team to reach our target and that’s winning the title of season. I know we have a new coach so I want to take the opportunity to get back in the first team," said Mbonde.

This is the first season for Mbonde to play for Simba after joining on a two years contract from Mtibwa Sugar.
