Southampton's offer for striker Manolo Gabbiadini continues to fall short of Napoli's asking price, reports Tuttosport.

The Saints lead West Ham, West Brom and Stoke City in the race to sign the 25-year-old, who is surplus to requirements at the Partenopei.

However, Southampton's maximum offer stands at €16 million, whereas Napoli are demanding €25m.
