Roma are set to stop Chelsea from signing midfielder Radja Nainggolan by offering him an improved contract, according to Calciomercato .
Antonio Conte's side had previously been linked with a move for the Belgium international, but Roma do not want to lose the 28-year-old to the Premier League side.
Nainggolan's current deal runs until the end of the 2019-20 season, but he is seeking £70,000 a week in order to remain at the Serie A side.
The midfielder has played at Roma since 2014, becoming an integral part of their starting XI. Nainggolan has played 19 of their 20 Serie A games this season.
