RUMOURS: Ozil & Di Maria set for Real Madrid return

The former Real midfielders are interested in re-joining their old club, despite being key players at Arsenal and PSG

Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria both would like to return to former club Real Madrid, according to Marca.

The duo played together at Santiago Bernabeu from 2010 to 2013, when Ozil left for Arsenal. Di Maria moved to Manchester United the following year, and despite a recent transfer to PSG, is looking to go back to Madrid.

Ozil is contracted to Arsenal until 2018, while Di Maria signed a four-year deal with PSG when he moved to Ligue 1 in 2015.

However, reports indicate that both players are unhappy at their clubs and would like to return to Real Madrid, where they would play under Champions League winning manager Zinedine Zidane.
