Marseille are interested in bringing Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy back to Ligue 1, according to France Football.

OM boss Rudi Garcia would like to add some experience to his squad, and wants the 31-year-old to provide a veteran presence at the Stade Velodrome.

Having fallen behind Hector Bellerin in the pecking order at Arsenal, Debuchy spent the second-half of last season on loan at Bordeaux, and could be set to return to France in January.

The right-back played his first game for Arsenal in a year last weekend, but lasted just 15 minutes before being forced off injured.
