The Monaco youngster narrowly missed out on Euro 2016 due to injury, but could soon be given a chance to shine on a similarly big stage

Manchester United are plotting a £70 million move for Monaco midfielder Bernardo Silva, The Sun claims.

The report suggests boss Jose Mourinho wants the 22-year-old Portuguese to link up with Antoine Griezmann, for whom a summer switch is said to be on the cards.

The good news for United, however, is that the playmaker is represented by Jorge Mendes, who is also Mourinho's agent.
