RUMOURS: Barcelona monitoring Milan duo

With Hector Bellerin signing a new deal with Arsenal, the Catalan club are shifting their focus to the Milan duo as they continue their hunt for a world-class right-back

Barcelona are interested in securing the services of AC Milan duo Ignazio Abate and Mattia De Sciglio, according to Fichajes.

Abate, an exceptionally-experienced right-back with well over 200 first-team appearances for the Rossoneri and 22 senior caps for Italy, is seen as an alternative to Arsenal's Hector Bellerin, who has just signed a new deal at the Emirates.

De Sciglio is also a full-back, who can operate on both sides and in the middle of defence, who at 24 years of age has made 30 appearances for Italy.
