'Ronaldo right to snub media'

The 32-year-old superstar has been accused of tax fraud by Spanish authorities, leading to reports that he wants to leave Real as a result.

However, Real president Florentino Perez revealed on Tuesday that he has not held talks with Ronaldo about his future at the club.

In an interview with Spanish radio station Onda Cero, Perez also said he would not speak with Ronaldo until the Confederations Cup finishes.

Goal has learned that Ronaldo himself is keen to put both his legal situation and speculation surrounding his Real future to one side by focussing solely on the Confederations Cup with Portugal.

The forward, who played a key role in captaining Selecao to Euro 2016 glory, plans to discuss both off-the-field issues once the tournament finishes.

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with making a move for Ronaldo as his Real future hangs in the balance.
