Real Madrid team-mates Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema were in relaxed mood ahead of a meeting with Alaves as they poked fun at Lucas Vazquez.
As the players prepared to enter the field at Santiago Bernabeu, the Blancos squad ensured that they were holding the hand of their respective mascot.
Vazquez was, however, lurking in the tunnel area at the same time.
As Benzema and Ronaldo passed him on their way to the field, both beckoned for the winger to join them.
Vazquez was an easy target for Real’s star forwards after being named among the substitutes.
He is also one of the shorter members of Zinedine Zidane’s squad at just 5ft 8in tall.
The 25-year-old was, however, to get his moment in the spotlight against Alaves as he replaced Benzema in the 81st minute.
Real won the game 3-0 to cement their standing at the top of the La Liga table.
