The Super Eagles gaffer alongside the NFF visited the 31-year-old who was diagnosed with acute leukemia

Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick with the senior national team coach, Gernot Rohr were on hand to wish Carl Ikeme quick recovery in London.

The goalkeeper, who returned abnormal blood tests at the start of their pre-season and confirmed to be suffering from cancer, is undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

NFF twitted the picture of the duo meeting with the Nigeria and Wolverhampton Wanderers first-choice shot-stopper on Thursday.

Ikeme has made seven appearances for the Super Eagles since making his debut in 2015.

Nigeria felt the absence of the England-born player as they suffered a 2-1 home loss to South Africa in their last Nations Cup qualifiers.
